Hi, My Name is Avery Fletcher
About Me
My name is Avery Curb. I began my business in 2021 under my maiden name, Avery Fletcher Photography. I am a 27-year-old, based in Texas, where I have spent most of my life. I graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Equine Industry and Business. During my final semester of college, I took a few photography courses, which inspired me to combine my passion for photography with my academic background in the equine industry.
I purchased my first horse, a 2016 OTTB named Brazos (Brazos Wildcat), in the summer of 2021. When I’m not photographing, I enjoy riding horses, reading, spending time with friends and family, or collecting various plants. I will never say no to a sushi restaurant and I love going to the farmers market and traveling. I have a Husky/German Shepherd mix named Ryker, a corgi named Zuko, and gained my husbands dog, Shaka, when we got married.
In December of 2021, I founded Avery Fletcher Photography, which has quickly become the most fulfilling career I’ve had the pleasure of pursuing. Through this venture, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to travel to beautiful equestrian facilities and connect with talented riders and their horses. My journey in photography began eight and a half years ago as a high school freshman when I picked up my first DSLR camera. I fell in love with the craft and worked hard to purchase my own professional-grade camera during a Black Friday sale that same year. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way. The growth I’ve experienced since launching this business has been remarkable, and I’m excited to continue improving and expanding my skills.
