Your horse

Please have your horse as "photo ready" as you'd like by the time your session starts. Many people choose to bathe, groom, clip their whiskers, pull their mane, put on shoe shine, braid their hair, etc.

Some decide they like their horse looking as natural as possible and that's totally fine as well! It's all your personal preference.

Magnolia is a fantastic horse braider if you would like professional looking braids!

Typically black/white backgrounds are shot with a nice halter and/or bridle. We can do some of both.

If your horse wears bell boots, decide if you'd like to leave them on or take them off for the session.

Wreaths and Decorations

I will be providing wreaths for the session. Feel free to bring additional Christmas decorations such as Santa Hats, bells, ribbons, lights, more wreaths, etc.

I will be photographing full body, profile, close ups, and some creative shots.

Tips and Info

Your session starts at the time you signed up for. Please arrive early to get your horse ready.

I recommend lunging or riding the day of or the day before your session. Typically horses will move less during their shoot.

Photos will be sent after the session. You will choose which 3 included digitals you want edited. You will have the option to purchase more as well.
